Kris “KJ” Brown has been tattooing since 2009. A certified Oregon tattoo artist, KJ apprenticed with Hawk Chait at 932 Tattoo. Since that time, KJ has gained a wealth of experience, which led him to opening Anchors and Ink Tattoo Studio and School in downtown Bend, Oregon. As the Director of the Oregon tattoo school at Anchors and Ink, KJ helps talented artists develop their skills and become licensed and certified tattoo professionals.

KJ founded Anchors and Ink Tattoo in 2009. He opened the shop in its current location, which he remodeled to create a clean, modern Bend tattoo studio overlooking Wall Street in downtown.
